Our mission is to make provisions and provide support to the marginalized, disabled, scarred, and ones wanting to become better. We promote inclusion and access to programs fostering self-efficacy, self-sufficiency, personal development, and overall wellness.  

Sassafras Tea, a nonprofit organization, was founded in March of 2022. The nonprofit was formed to ensure that more of the population could be served.  The Founder of Sassafras Tea, was made aware of a need when she went through a traumatic life threatening experience.  Through the process of recovery, she discovered a gap in attainable resources and services. The system in place did not provide direction, planning, emotional support. However, it did provide easy access to narcotic medications. Many people graduate from legal narcotics to illegal narcotics. The agency was founded to provide healthy coping mechanisms, autonomy, and methods to navigate life successfully.
